Why Join the U.S. Senate Toastmasters Club
Join our club to improve your public speaking and leadership skills, one meeting at a time. As a member of the U.S. Senate Toastmasters club, you will enjoy fellowship with people who all have the same goal: becoming better public speakers and/or better leaders. At each club meeting, you are guaranteed to learn something new! For example, join the U.S. Senate Toastmasters club to:
- Get over your fear of speaking in public
- Provide positive leadership at work or in your business
- Develop skills related to time keeping, grammar and parliamentary procedure
- Improve your overall communication skills
Who We Are
We are a diverse group of Senate staffers, government and private sector employees that share the common goal of improving our public speaking and leadership skills. We take great pride in being a professional support system, so to speak, as each of us contributes to the club in an effort to help our fellow club members to achieve the goal of being a great public speaker and leader!
